9-11-01 It Is Still All About God
Hi All,
With 9-11′s 10th anniversary falling on a Sunday, it seemed only right to talk about God’s role in the recovery of our nation after enduring this terrible attack. Our very special worship service centered on God while paying tribute to those who lost their lives during 9-11. The message ‘It’s All About Jesus’ is available for viewing on our website. We shot video of the entire Sunday service if the editing comes out good enough we will make DVD’s available to anyone that wants one.
The editing will be difficult because once again our video equipment failed to function on Sunday. In order to put pu a quality DVD we will have to try to cut in the videos that were meant to be part of the service.
It is now 4:00p.m. Sunday and I have the video working again. Let’s hope that we can keep it going.
I will be on vacation Wednesday through Friday this week. The Tuesday morning devotion will go on as scheduled all other Bible Studies are cancelled. Worship services will not be affected.
Have a great week Loving and Serving the Lord with all your Heart.

Carry Your Cross
Hi All,
It was a great weekend. Saturday we had an excellent turnout at our Congregational Dinner. Sunday attendance was slightly lower than average attendance but we did have one first time visitor.
Our Gospel from Matthew 16 tells us about the importance of putting God’s will above our desires. The message on this Gospel ‘Carry Your Cross’ is available to view on the video page of our website. Those who were at service tell me it was one of my better sermons so if you missed service, be sure to take a few minutes and listen to this message. At very least read and consider the passage:
(Matthew 16:23-27 NIV) Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.” {24} Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. {25} For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. {26} What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? {27} For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.
I was encouraged by the positive but cautious response to our looking into establishing a location that would be available to us 7 days a week. I agree with the caution as well as the optimistic views. As we move forward we will develop plans that will have to be approved by the congregation before we move to the next step.
Anyone available for breakfast Tuesday? I will be at Richies Diner in Temecula but from what I’ve heard from the regulars I might be alone so feel free to join me at 7:00 a.m.
Have a great week Loving and Serving the Lord with all your Heart.
