Hi All,
Our message this past weekend came from Luke 13, the parable of the fig tree. In this passage we hear Jesus call us to repent. The message is available on the video page of our website http://www.heartlutheran.org/videos.php
Today Elaine from Bel-Air Property Management and I met with Lisa from the Planning Department of Menifee. We have been able to overcome the zoning issues about a church meeting in a shopping area but we may have issues with Building and Safety because there appears to be no building permits on file for the units we hope to make into Heart Lutheran Church’s. Lisa told us that this does not mean such permits were never pulled but that many of the records before 1972 no longer exist. If we cannot find these records it would be up to the property owner to apply for permits. Currently we have asked the county to research the property and we will be asking the property owner to apply for new permits if necessary. I will let you know how we progress.

Tuesday March 9 @ 7:00 a.m.: Devotions at Richies Diner on Temecula Parkway in Temecula
Wednesday March 10 @ 6:45p.m.: Bible Study at the Group 1 Production Office. We are currently working our way through the New Testament. We will begin the Gospel of Mark this week.
Saturday March 13 @ 6:00p.m.: Worship with Holy Communion at the Sterling in Temecula
Sunday March 14 @ 9:00a.m.: Worship with Holy Communion at Bel-Air in Sun City. This is a gated community so bring a cell phone and call the church phone (265-1290) when you arrive at the gate so we can let you in.
